Eldest is the second book in the Inheritance series. I think that the first book, Eragon, is better. Eldest is about Eragon and his adventures in the elven world. He learns new spells, new ways to fight, and becomes a better Rider. He helps the Varden fight the Empire to defeat Galbatorix.This book was very good. I really like how some of the characters returned, presumed dead, or just ran away. A lot of this book was Eragon training, but most of the training entertaining. Not just reading about him sitting around. I think that this book was great, and highly recommend it.
